It is therefore not possible to make any concrete specifications. Gorgonzola should be allowed to breathe for optimum shelf life. In the meantime, I had already opened the product several times, before the date printed on it had expired, and found the same hairy mold (see picture). Is the product still edible? Unfortunately, I have thrown it away each time as it looks very unappetizing.
