I treated myself to another Diplomat. But it doesn't come close to my childhood memories from the 70s. Back then it still contained candied fruit cubes. Today it's just canned fruit salad and the pears it contains have so many stone cells that they crunch under your teeth. The soaked cookie also used to have much more flavor. Overall, the product was sweeter, which I miss here.
