Directive 98/58/EC of the Council of the European Union on minimum standards for the protection of all farmed animals applies. The cheese is labeled "ohne Gentechnik", which means that the milk comes exclusively from animals that are fed without genetically modified feed. The EGGenTDurchfG §3a, 3b applies.
