I ordered several frames in different sizes in black. Unfortunately, all (!) frames are damaged (chipped or the wood is poorly finished). I expected better quality for the price. I am quite disappointed.

MEETS MY EXPECTATIONS

I love these very fine and pretty GALLERIA picture frames and have been using them for several years to display my works on paper in galleries. It is indeed very much in my interest that I continue to find GALLERIA frames in the large sizes in your range. I am very sorry to report that I was deeply saddened when I unpacked my order. The quality and packaging were simply desolate. Unfortunately, it is no longer possible in my region to view such frames in the Micasa store, check them there and then buy them. That is why I have had to rely on online orders since last year. The four Micasa GALLERIA frames measuring 52 x 72 x 2.7 cm were delivered by post within a very short time. The packaging consisted of a much too large cardboard box, so to speak, without any serious padding. Incomprehensibly, the decision was made to pack them in a cardboard box measuring 95 x 33 x 60 cm. Symbolically, a handful of paper crepe was probably used as padding. I am not exaggerating. The heavy frames floated in the box, which was far too large - these are the laws of physics. As a result, some of the frames suffered unspeakably during transportation, as they injured each other. One suffered minor abrasions, but I can live with that. And fortunately for me, a carpenter was able to reassemble two of them at the gaping corner with frame clamps and glue and save them. Careless production A fourth piece is still in the studio and is actually unusable. The agraffe on one corner is positioned in such a way that it creates a sizable gap at the corner. Important: This can only be recognized when the cardboard caps under the foil at the corner are removed. This is a production error, so please take care, as such a delivery is a bitter experience. It is also okay if the price goes up. These beautiful frames deserve to be transported with respect. best regards

Careful workmanship, clever suspension and above all: classic glass, not plastic! This makes for clean and stylish framing.
