I bought a 300x235 curtain in the store. The curtain slightly touches the floor in some places. The dimensions given therefore correspond to the final dimensions when the curtain is hung.

This allows for beautiful pleating or gathering, as you have more than 1.5 times the window width available. With a total width of 600 cm, you can use the curtains both decoratively and functionally to cover the window completely and achieve an attractive look. If the window on the left and/or right does not connect directly to a side wall, the curtain on each side should be at least 20cm wider than the window. It's better to have a wider curtain than too narrow for a pleasing aesthetic effect, so make sure you choose one that's wide enough. The look is more harmonious if the curtain is distributed in loose pleats across the width of the window. To include enough fabric for the pleats and loops, you should choose a curtain twice as wide as the window. It's also more aesthetically pleasing to have 2 curtains rather than just one, so we recommend about 20cm beyond the window on each side to cover the window properly, and round off another 5-10cm or so towards the top.
