I like chocolate, especially the Tourist from the Migros shelf.
But this packaging! I understand that aluminum foil should no longer be used for environmental reasons, and that plastic foil (even that word...) is probably cheaper to produce.
What's the best way to open the chocolate?
By the time I get my hands on this little tear-off shred, half the chocolate is already broken. And when I then tear open the "bag", I can take out the first row, but the rest of the chocolate gets stuck and the crumbs always end up on the fresh white T-shirt...
Wouldn't it be possible to attach a "tear strip" that divides the foil on at least two sides (one narrow side and one long side) so that the bar can be removed easily?
On the other hand, this packaging is a blessing for my figure...
Hello schnaepf1
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback.
The inner packaging of the Tourist chocolate bars is the usual plastic film. This can be opened very easily by tearing it open on the long side between the prepared prongs. The switch to plastic foil was made over 10 years ago, as the product is better protected (for example, from pests that could get into the bar from the outside). In addition, the environmental impact of aluminum packaging is higher than that of this plastic packaging. Migros has been committed to sustainable packaging for decades.
We hope you will try the chocolate again and wish you a wonderful autumn day. Your M-Infoline Team
