Have you changed the recipe? This milk chocolate doesn't taste like it used to. I don't like it any more. I switched to Habla from Coop, which tastes more like Frey milk chocolate from the past. Too bad
Hello Aksal, thank you for your message. We would like to follow up on your comment. So that we can trace the manufacturing process precisely, we would ask you to provide us with the best-before date and the lot number. The latter can be found next to the best-before date. It usually begins with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers. Thank you in advance for your valuable support. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Has anything changed in the recipe and production method over the last 15 years? Maybe I've just become more demanding, but it seems to me that this chocolate used to taste better. It felt finer to eat. That's why I don't buy it so often anymore.
Hi Cygnus2112, thank you for your inquiry. According to consultation with our specialist department, we have not made any changes to the recipe for several years. We would be happy to make further enquiries for you. It would be helpful if you could provide us with the best-before date and the batch/lot number. The batch/lot number is usually located next to the best-before date and contains a mixture of letters and numbers. We look forward to reading from you again! Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Dear M-Infoline, thank you for your reply. I would have liked to send you this information, but the packaging just went out with the waste paper on Saturday. On the other hand, my observation is not limited to this one bar. I had the impression for some time that the quality was no longer the same. Well, you write "no change to the recipe for several years" - but that can mean many things. I'm not comparing it with 3 years ago, but rather with 10-20 years ago. Yänu, too bad. MfG, Cygnus 2112
Hello Cygnus2112, thank you for your feedback. We can confirm that there have been no recipe adjustments in the last 10-20 years. We only improve our products when necessary and adapt the qualities of the raw materials available on the market. However, as cocoa beans are a natural product, it is quite possible that subtle sensory differences can be perceived. However, we remain committed to our production processes. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and we strive to continue to deliver the best quality. We have therefore gladly forwarded your observation to our specialist department. Unfortunately, we cannot carry out more detailed checks without the production data. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Dear M-Infoline, thank you very much for the answer and the clear confirmation that the recipe has remained unchanged for 10-20 years. Yes, what do I taste then? I could still imagine a) changed production processes, b) changed raw material quality (as you suggested) or c) nostalgia (many things often seem better in memory) on my part. Let's leave it at that. I don't want to bother you any further. If I buy a milk extra again, get the feeling that it's not as good as it used to be and if I think of it, I'll be happy to add the batch/lot number here. MfG, Cygnus2112

Question about the chocolate "Milk Extra", why does the 100gr and the 400gr bar not taste the same? It is not only the bite, there is a clear difference in taste. I look forward to an answer, thank you in advance.
Hello MBear00, we are very sorry that our chocolate has given you cause for complaint. So that we can trace the production, we would ask you to provide us with the best-before date and the lot number (begins with L and consists of letters and numbers) of both items. For now, we wish you a nice day. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good evening!
For decades I have been using Migros Milk Extra Schoggi for all my baking ideas, as it was the only milk chocolate with the right melting properties. Now, for a few months, I've been unable to make the recipes - no matter how I try, I can't get the milk chocolate to melt quickly and evenly. I now suspect that the recipe has been changed...? Please, please use the old recipe again so that I can enjoy baking again!

you don't have to think that you're so important that they're changing the recipe because of you. I really like the new recipe.

Huiuiui, don't attack me like that. Of course, I share this opinion with some people, so I decided to ask a few questions.
The taste and consistency in the "uncooked" state has not changed noticeably, so the 0815 chocolate eater is not affected ;-)
Hello guest
Thank you for your feedback on our Frey milk extra.
We have not changed the recipe recently. Can you please provide us with the M-Data and the production number of a package. We can use this information to check our retained samples and find out if something is not working correctly in production.
Thank you for your help and have a nice day. Your M-Infoline Team

I think this chocolate is very good. Why is this chocolate sweet?
Thank you for registering!
We're sorry you find the chocolate too sweet. As an alternative, we recommend sugar-free extra-fine milk.
