7 questions
Today I was in 3 Migros branches in and around Bern: Breitenrain, Ostermundigen and Ittigen. I could no longer find the Bärner Bär product in any of these 3 rather large stores. I bought this item in the Ittigen branch in September, but today I had no luck, it is no longer available. Why do you keep taking very popular and good products out of the Migros range and replacing them with other products that you can find in any other store anyway (and usually at a cheaper price)? In which store can you still find the Bärner Bär?
If I look at my place, it's bigger 2 MM stores and 3MMM stores... and how are you sure it's a popular product?

The Breitenrain and Ittigen stores no longer stock Bärner Bär milk chocolate. The Ostermundigen store will still receive a delivery this week. Bärner Bär milk chocolate is also still available in the Bern Marktgasse, Köniz and Shoppyland Schönbühl stores. Best regards from the M-Infoline team

According to the M-Infoline, this chocolate is available in the Cooperative Eastern Switzerland. Why is it not in stock in any of the Cooperative Eastern Switzerland branches (Zurich, Winterthur, Uster, Wetzikon ...)? How can this be changed? Other regional specialties are also not only available in a single region: Biberli, Leckerli, Panettone, Bündnerfleisch ...

We assume you mean Bärner Schoggi, which, as you have already mentioned, is only available in the Eastern Switzerland cooperative. Why isn't the Bärner Bär om Steffisburg available to buy?

Hello Patrick Lejeune The Bärner Bär milk chocolate is a regional product of the Migros Aare Cooperative, which we only offer in our stores in the canton of Bern and in neighboring stores in the canton of Solothurn. It is therefore unfortunately not possible to offer Bärner Bär milk chocolate in the Migros Cooperative Geneva stores, in our French Migros stores or in the national online store. Is this the same composition as was made years ago at the Tobler company? I remember my mother from Bern always bringing me one. I found it after a long search at Migros at the Würenlos highway service station.

May we therefore ask you to send your request directly to Le Shop? Perhaps they can add the chocolate to their range so that you can buy it for your friend's father.

Do they still exist? If so, in which Bern branch? I mean in the size (500g)? Would have been a great Mother's Day present for my mommy :-)!

You can get Bärner Schoggi in the 500g pack in many of our stores. We would be happy to name a few of them so that you know where to get your present for your mother next year:
