The taste was fine, only the bottom was a little soggy.
There are moments when you're strolling through the aisles and suddenly they catch your eye from the refrigerated display case: these two little red works of art. You take them with you, hoping for a brief respite from everyday life, for a bite that tastes of sunshine, gardens, and childhood.
An experience for the senses
As soon as you open the packaging, you are greeted by the unmistakable scent of fresh strawberries. The appearance is simply irresistible – the deep red, shiny fruits, crowned with a perfect, snow-white cream rosette. It looks like a Sunday afternoon in Grandma's garden.
The first bite
When you take a bite, it's a rollercoaster of emotions. The vanilla cream is a dream: velvety, sweet, and the perfect bridge between the crispy base and the juicy strawberries. At its best, the shortcrust pastry is wonderfully crumbly and melts in your mouth.
Why not full marks?
But – and this is almost heartbreaking – it's a gamble. Sometimes, unfortunately, the base is already a little soggy and has lost its bite. And if you're really unlucky, you can tell that the strawberries have been left in the cold a little too long. Then the magic disappears a little.
Conclusion:
For CHF 6.50, you get a highly emotional dessert here. It's not just pastry, it's a reward. When the quality is right, it's heaven on earth. When it's not, you're left with a bittersweet aftertaste. Nevertheless, I simply can't walk past them without putting them in my cart.
The next evening, the cookies at the base were soggy and unappetizing. Meh.

We bought these tartlets today, they were marked down, so we were able to buy them for 4CHF.
Unfortunately they were not fresh, the fruit was soggy on the outside and still frozen on the inside and the vanilla cream also had a layer of ice. Unfortunately, the frozen ones made me suspect that they were only defrosted and not fresh. Therefore totally overpriced for defrosted goods. The claim that they are fresh is a joke.
