Tomatoes became 33% more expensive within a year. Was there a special reason?

We're talking about Switzerland here, not other countries! There are also such platforms in Germany, so I would give them a try 🤣- and no need to be cheeky!
Even though prices are unfortunately rising here, they have risen even more dramatically in many areas of the world. Olive harvests, for example, have also been disastrous this year... which is why MB olive oil has also risen massively (although the competition has increased before Migros). Unfortunately, I don't think the situation will improve much in the coming weeks and months

😂😂😂 On what planet? Commodity prices such as oil, petrol etc. have been at an all-time low for 15 months. We're getting tired of these Migros excuses about price increases. What Migros is doing here is pure rip-off and more and more hidden price increases. Smaller packs, less content and higher prices. It's simply outrageous what Migros is doing here at the expense of consumers!
I hardly think that Migros wants to "rip off" its customers, otherwise you just have to shop elsewhere if you think they are of the same quality, true, energy costs have fallen, but other factors are still high, such as raw materials, packaging material etc.. Migros will certainly not increase its prices for no reason.

If you answer "On which planet are you writing", that's not exactly a fine answer either.

Or you take the wave of price increases with you and increase more than you have to, because the customer just accepts it, because everyone is doing it and it must be right. Ps: I'm not saying that not everything has become a little more expensive to maintain and an increase is not justified. But it was investigated and proven that a lot of unnecessary increases were made in order to enrich themselves even more.
As with the changeover from DM to euro back then ..... you have to seize the opportunities.

I don't know where you've been for the last few weeks and months, but certainly not here. In some cases, goods are purchased months in advance. Tomato paste, for example, has risen from 0.39 cents to 1.15 cents in Germany. Aren't they gambling? I would prefer MB Pelatti to be listed in all stores.

That's exactly why I now go to Denner or Lidl more often, because Migros is beyond my budget. It's a shame, but apparently Migros is no longer able to maintain the basic Duttweiler concept. I'm a bit disappointed, because Migros has always been my No. 1 since I was a child 😏

Fortunately, tinned pelati are regularly in promotion, so I buy a larger quantity in stock. They also keep for a long time. I can't remember the last time I bought Pelati at the regular price.
