The new presentation of the coupons in the app has deteriorated and is therefore more confusing. I ask for the previous display again: After update 24.12.2022: Thank you for the good "old" display. It is now much clearer again.

Orange is Migros' corporate color. You can also see it here on Migipedia: Borders and notices as well as click areas are in orange - also in the app. Red and green do not appear in the color scheme and would distort it.

Migros' corporate color is orange, but that doesn't mean that every text has to be written in orange. But there's no point in giving courses here on design regulations, color concepts and schemes.
But I agree with you: as far as the new look of the digital coupons is concerned, there is a lot of room for improvement - not only because the dark blue is reminiscent of SBB signage (station names, track numbers, pictograms), but also because the coupons can be confused with the "Blue Receipts" due to this nonsensical color scheme and are simply badly designed in the literal sense. And I'll repeat myself again: Migros' entire visual appearance is the bottom drawer. Everything that is written in white on a light background - then this strange font that is reminiscent of Helvetica but is not - and not forgetting the advertising films. The current advertising agency is doing anything but professional work for Migros.
