In Germany there are often gluten-free shelves where you can find many gluten-free products together. In Migros I always have to search until I find the GF product.

You look for flour in the flour section and cookies in the cookie section, whether organic or specially labeled. Managing products on different shelves would be an extra workload for staff. Incidentally, the separate shelves are already disappearing again in some markets in Germany.

Ok
For you as a customer, it is of course practical if you can do all your shopping at a single shelf. Not so for the retailers, because then you really only buy what you need. However, if you have to collect your goods from all over the store, there is a chance that one or two products will end up in your shopping cart that you hadn't planned to buy.

Hello everyone, LarsR also posted the request here: https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/migros/glutenfrei-725139?reply=f82d98b0-3ef9-11ed-9628-af69a67119f7. I have posted our feedback there. Best regards, Chloe
Ok
ah they disappear again ok? so far i have always found gluten-free shelves in germany except at very small markets ...... i have even seen a gluten-free shelf at the cheap discounter penny!!!!
Stilmt just the explanation, if you as a customer go to your gluten-free shelf, it means fewer spontaneous purchases from the normal shelves for the store, where you have to search for the products individually and stumble across other "normal" (but possibly also gluten-free) products that would be bought spontaneously.
On the other hand, as a "gluten-tolerant" person, you buy less often from the gluten-free shelf, but would also grab it sometimes if it's between the normal ones. It's all systematic, it makes sense to me too😁 but I really often see the special racks in the denner too. Lidl. Aldi... don't see a decline there
Then only racks for vegans, lactose-free products, protein... etc Don't find that so practical

You can't equate gluten-free/lactose-free products with vegan/vegetarian products. As Bodenseeknusperli writes, people with an intolerance should avoid foods with gluten/lactose. Vegans/vegetarians do NOT choose this path for health reasons but because they want to. The others must.

I don't understand why it has to be an extra corner? Thanks to Migipedia, you can quickly and easily see which products are available where... and I think there are simply too few customers who buy these ranges ...
off the top of my head, I'd say it's like Ikea - you have to go through all the shelves and search until you get what you want - and they're constantly changing... and now in Ikea Spreitenbach you can only type in your menu or whatever via a machine... I'm glad I'm as old as I am!
Exactly, I'm looking around stupidly with a magnifying glass because everything is written so small that I can't read anything. I speak to a sales clerk who helps me in a friendly way, but where can we find the product? If possible in a corner or at the bottom of the shelf. It would be really helpful to create a corner with gluten-free products. Thanks for the effort
