Migros managers are making themselves increasingly unpopular. By removing ribwort throat lozenges from their range - a household remedy that can even be used to successfully combat the onset of angina - they are violating Migros principles in several ways. Slowly, an interesting opportunity is opening up for Aldi in particular: to include items that have been discontinued by Migros in its own range and thus encourage existing Migros customers to first look at what they can buy at Aldi.
