I would like to see processed flakes in the Migros range, e.g. those from Alnatura. Super fine for baking too. Unfortunately, I've only found processed flakes in Germany so far.

What are melting flakes?
These are flakes made from oats, the difference to conventional oat flakes is that they melt when they come into contact with liquid. You can use them to make fine and somewhat healthier brownies, for example, or other baked goods.

I see. I've never heard of that. Thanks for your explanation!
Okee... I need that😳 I'd love to try it out, it's something you really don't know, thank you😄
It's great 😍 I'm not really a fan of oatmeal but this texture is awesome. I've only found them in Germany so far but maybe you can find them in an Alnaturashop.
It will be difficult, Migro would first have to tip Lindt chocolate or M&M or some other stuff out of the rack to make room.....

Processed flakes are available in Germany, e.g. at Müller, the best known are those from Kölln. https://www.koelln.de/produkte/schmelzflocken/ If you live near a Swiss store, they can usually order them. The flakes are also often used for baby food. These are my favorite oat flakes, they were always available at grandma's. https://www.koelln.de/produkte/haferflocken/bluetenzart/ There are also instant oat flakes, which are wafer-thin so that they dissolve quickly in cold and warm liquids. Great as a breakfast drink, smoothie or sports drink.
I have now done a bit of research on these flakes and I think they are great! I would use them for baking or add them to a smoothie. The normal oat flakes are too big and too firm for the smoothie. And I don't have the time or inclination to soak them beforehand, so I'd be delighted if they were introduced to the range😊
Hello Julia9183280, thank you for your contribution. There are currently no plans to introduce this. However, we have gladly placed your suggestion with the specialist department. Kind regards, Matteo
Coop has melting flakes, they are not called that, but they are the same, you can find them in the baby food section: Holle Hafer https://www.coop.ch/de/baby-kind/babynahrung/breie-zum-anruehren/5-monate-/holle-demeter-hafer-getreidebrei-5-monate/p/6155633 And Müller Schweiz has melting flakes from Kölln.
