Bought another 6-pack of Rivella blue containing Rivella refresh (undrinkable for me!). I emptied the last one, this one is going back! I'm annoyed!!! Circumstances!

Hello Gardening, we are not aware of any bottling defects. We would therefore like to follow up on your tip. Can you please tell me the lot number (letters and numbers) and the expiration date of your bottles? Best regards, Sina

Hi Sina, the bottles are currently being returned to Migros. I had a quick look at the dates and, if correct, I remember expiry 6.9.2022 Lot A3 1:53 (or similar). Already happened for the 2nd time. We emptied the last bottles. This time for a refund! An investigation on your part will hardly be effective. Who writes in the log: "I bottled Rivella Refresh instead of Rivella blue". Can no longer recommend anyone to buy Rivella blue in Migros. The quality control here (or at the production site) is very poor. LG Ingrid

Hi Gardening, glad you got a refund. And thanks for the data. I'll pass them on to the specialist department, but of course they may not be correct. In that case, further clarification is not really possible. But let's give it a try. The bottling process will certainly have been correct. However, the labeling machine was probably still using the Refresh label instead of the Rivella blue label. This has nothing to do with Migros' quality control, but with the supplier. Especially because in such a case there are usually only a few bottles involved, which are hardly noticeable during spot checks. Kind regards, Sina

Hello Sina, that is quite possible. However, it has happened for the 2nd time in a short space of time. A complaint from Migros to the bottler is therefore more than appropriate. It's all very annoying and associated with circumstances. LG

Could this also be the case with coca coca zero or other light or zero drinks, for example?

Hi Gardening, thanks again for the message. We have looked into your experience with the supplier. The manufacturer is not assuming that the product was incorrectly bottled, but that there was a deviation in the flavoring. He will now pay more attention to this parameter. We will certainly keep an eye on this issue too. Kind regards, Matteo

Thank you very much Matteo. There seems to be a leak in the control at the plant. Rivella blue must remain Rivella blue when flavored. Absolutely. But we can leave it as it is at the moment. Best regards

Well, let's hope that it's not actually a misfilling, but just a deviation in the flavoring... In the case of Léger Joghurt Nature (https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/migros/nature-jogurt-leger?reply=5c306b00-d201-11ec-a7f7-f3dca7293f68&p=3), it was said that the yoghurt had become liquid due to a break in the cold chain; however, a simple experiment clearly disproved this...
