This excellent ready-made salad dressing has not been available in Migros Adliswil for three weeks. It was also not available in Migros Shopville, Migros Leimbach and Migros Stockerstrasse. All efforts to find it elsewhere were in vain! What happened, where in the Zurich area can I buy my beloved salad dressing?
Hello maripac and all your fellow writers, your commitment to this dressing is impressive. At the same time, it makes me all the more sad that I have to tell you that there are no plans to relaunch the spicy dressing. Even if you are some of us and perhaps still know a few people in your circle, the sales figures for the whole of Switzerland ultimately showed us that there was hardly any demand for the dressing. As our space is limited, it is a logical step for us to no longer offer such products. After all, we want to offer a range that meets the needs of the majority of our customers. But I understand your utter disappointment about this very, very well. Even today, I still haven't found an equal replacement for my beloved Farmer Quinoa Muesli and I mourn its loss. The people in charge read your lines and of course they also regularly check which of your wishes they can implement. Unfortunately, however, they cannot meet all your needs. I ask for your understanding in this matter. Kind regards, Sina
Hello Sina M-Infoline. I haven't given up hope yet and went to see if the M Classic Picant Dressing was on sale again the last time I went shopping at Migros. Unfortunately, no. Please explain to me why Migros has 11 different varieties of French dressing (2 sauces containing 500ml and l000ml) in its range and has removed the Picant salad dressing from the range.

As a loyal Migros customer, I also have no desire to keep going to the Coop because of Bruno's salad dressing. Yours sincerely, Marlyse Sigel

There are so many salad dressings on the shelves, but they all contain a lot of oil. Please definitely bring back the oil-free, spicy sauce.
Many thanks @24-erikat24- for writing to Migros about this dressing, and many thanks also to everyone else who is standing up for this incomparable product. The decision to remove the M-Classic Pikant dressing from the range disappoints me greatly. There are no alternatives to this product. The ingenious dressing, which has been in the range since at least the 1990s, has (had) an entry in the "Klevers Kompass Kalorien & Fette" (GU-Verlag) and in the FatSecret app, among others, and was an extremely valuable companion in a calorie-reduced and/or oil-free diet. This dressing was unique not only in terms of its nutritional values, but also in terms of its consistency and taste, and it could be used in a variety of ways and combined with other ingredients as desired. Once the Worcester sauce had been removed from the recipe, the M-Classic Pikant dressing was also suitable for vegans, which was unfortunately never explicitly stated on the bottle. I also sincerely hope and ask that this decision is reversed and that the M-Classic Pikant dressing is returned to the shelves without delay. It's not that I don't understand the argument regarding the comparatively small circle of connoisseurs. But this product is an ingenious and extremely successful invention for which, unlike many other (Migros) products, there is no substitute.
I also really want the sauce back. There is no comparable product anywhere. Super low calorie should be an important argument today! Please, dear Migros, take the sauce back into the range!!!
Yes, this sauce was given a second chance back then. And again, it sold so poorly that it now has to be withdrawn from sale. This time you have to accept it; it would really be unreasonable to include the product in the range for a third time.
Dear Nachtspalter The second chance was unfair because the sauce was only sold in a few stores and was no longer advertised. I always had to look for it and drive to other villages. To say that it's because of the sauce is simply wrong. The great thing about the sauce is that you could mix it with high-quality oil or other sauces. There is nothing better with cucumber salad. I want my cucumber salad back! Schani
I'm wondering what was so special about the sauce apart from the lack of oil? I've never bought a salad dressing before, I've had two or three testers as gifts but found them all unexciting and too expensive, you can make your own. but how did the sauce taste? The list of ingredients sounds boring, mustard pepper garlic lemon, oh yes and Worcester sauce. No herbs? So it was a Worcester liquid sauce for the salad?
Water, alcohol vinegar, mustard (water, mustard powder, alcohol vinegar, table salt, sugar, coloring: turmeric), table salt, thickener: E 415 and guar gum, yeast extract, Worcester sauce (contains soy, anchovies, barley), coloring: simple caramel, pepper extract, lemon juice concentrate, garlic, white pepper Have you ever used pickle water for salad dressing? Then it will be super tasty and less sour, but I would really like to hear how it tasted and why you can't make it yourself with a little Worcester sauce and such. It must have been mighty tasty😅 It feels like half a nation of children is growing up here who don't want to eat salads anymore because nobody can make the dressing😆

Thanks for the recipe . The comment is funny, but it's about my favorite salad! Of course I kept the last bottle. It no longer had anchovies in it in the new recipe. You could also leave out the xanthan gum! Migros always puts thickeners in everything so that they can save on the good ingredients, which some customers also notice (see whipped cream, except for the expensive organic products, it contains carrageenan thickener everywhere) The sauce smells of vinegar, mustard and turmeric and is very creamy. Apart from its special taste, its strength is that you can mix it with anything and that you only need a little of it. This is another reason why it is not sold so often (apart from the fact that Migros has made it scarce so that it can finally do away with it). Of course, you need more of the ready-made sauces with the cheap oil than if you add olive oil yourself. Bruno's sauce, which was mentioned here, is twice as expensive and unfortunately tastes different. But the new Migros Classic bottles are now also 300 ml larger and twice as expensive. Of course, I can also mix my own sauces, but it's difficult to find the right spicy sauce (there are different types of mustard, for example). If you're in a hurry, you only need this sauce and oil (if you want). Cucumber salad is also good for your figure and this week Migros finally had organic cucumbers for less than 2 Fr. I'd also be interested to know how big the profit margin is (organic cucumbers often cost 2.90 Fr.) compared to injected cucumbers. What does the producer earn from an organic cucumber? On the other hand, I would also buy organic with flaws if it was cheap. I am also against throwing away crooked cucumbers. Yes, I know that this is off-topic. But if you write to Migros on the subject, all you get is a nice standard reply and unfortunately consumers would rather have nice, poisoned vegetables. You could see that in the vote.

I called a Migros store today. The person in charge of sauces told me that the status is only "delivery stop" and not yet "abolished". But I have little hope. Incidentally, the article number was 106620, but it no longer exists in the product range. They don't have any more bottles at BINA either and it said "Elabore en France" on the bottle anyway.

I still have two in stock in the cellar. It's a good basis for me and I always change or add to them.

@schani-48 A lot of effort and probably for nothing! The article number is not complete, a number is missing: 1066.20(0-9). Like most sauces, the dressing was produced by ELSA in Estavayer-le-Lac until it was outsourced to the acquired company Idhéa in Hochfelden (Alsace). I suspect that production was continued until the last bottle, as new bottles according to EU standards with non-removable lids are now being used. Best regardsFrederica
