I think the gravy is great but what I find bad is that it is a cheat pack. It says 500g and that seems to be true, but the tin is so big that there would be room for 1kg and that is unnecessary waste.

Hello ghostvampira, this has to do with the filling process. The powder is filled into the can and then compresses over time due to the movements during transportation and handling in the store. This makes the can look far too big, but it needed to be that size to begin with. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about this. Kind regards, Sina

That's exactly what I was wondering. She writes The powder is bottled but it's a paste. That seems pretty strange to me. If it is bottled as a powder, where does the water come from so that it becomes a paste? I don't believe that powder simply becomes paste without any additives.

Yes, if you look properly you should be able to tell the difference that it's not powder but paste. I wanted to test it and felt stupid when I saw how much was in it. It seemed strange to me that the can was as light as if it only contained 250 grams instead of 500 grams, so I wanted to check and didn't believe what I saw at first.

Nevertheless, I assume that a similar principle applies to this product as to the powder: it needs a slightly larger container because the paste takes up more space when it is filled. The paste sinks during storage.

Maybe Sina was like me: I completely overlooked the title. It often happens to me since the first few words of a post are displayed as the title in the activity stream. So it was a good thing that I at least looked at the picture.
