Why is the household paper M-Budget no longer listed on the homepage, in the app and here? What's going on?

Dear Migros, just be honest and admit that it was too economical, like the old M-Budget toilet paper. There is an endless choice of 3-ply rolls. I bought the new M-Budget household paper exactly once and never again. Maybe I'll find something suitable on Amazon.
Hello Peter1971, we have already informed you why we no longer offer the paper in this form. But I will gladly take your feedback on board - thank you. Kind regards, Susi
Dear Angela
Do you see any posts here in this forum that share your opinion that this is an improvement in quality?
You are also implying that tens of thousands of customers have been buying inferior quality for years...
As a member of the Migros Cooperative, I call on Migros to use its market position and have the new producer produce household paper in the proven two-ply quality.
Best regards myhyrax
Hello myhyrax, unfortunately the old fabric quality is no longer offered by the previous manufacturer and we had to look for a new supplier. Unfortunately, this supplier cannot produce the "old" fabric quality 1:1 and we were forced to look for another solution. However, we are happy to take your feedback on board. Kind regards, Susi

Sorry to be a pain as a customer. Unfortunately, I now know which of the two stories I should believe. The one from the supplier or the one from customers who wanted a 3-layer. It was a product that I went to Migros especially for and I filled the scales well every time. I am aware that you can do without me as a customer.
Unfortunately, I am also extremely disappointed with this new 3-ply household paper. It is not tear-resistant at all and falls apart during use, which is extremely frustrating. The short pre-perforated tear-off sheets are also impractical and make handling difficult. You either tear off too much or too little paper.
The old Buget household paper had over 500 great customer reviews and almost a full 5 stars. We bought it for many years and were always very satisfied. I can't believe it has now been changed due to customer requests. PLEASE!!!, we wish we had the old household paper back because the new product just can't compete. Unfortunately, we are now forced to look for an alternative. This is really a great pity and also annoying!
I think it's a fake that there has been "various customer feedback", it's again about selling something more expensive or the other - more expensive - offers. If you look through the posts here, the opinions are exactly to the effect that the existing product was good and should not be changed. I have been using the 2-ply household paper for years and have always been very happy with it because it was completely adequate in terms of quality. Now I will probably have to look around Lidl&Co for alternatives...
Hello indios, thank you for your contribution. Based on various customer feedback, we have decided to offer the household paper in three layers. This allows us to guarantee better absorption and tear resistance. You will find it back in your store's range next week. Best regards, Chloe
Chloe, please, that's wrong! (I hope that wasn't a deliberate lie from you!) the supplier no longer offers the item! please give no answer rather than a standard answer that is untrue.
find out why the item was really changed, it's NOT because of customer feedback!!! that's really not right...
...you just feel like a****t...
it doesn't work!!!

Hi Gletscher, thank you for your message. We are sorry to have disappointed you with our reply - this information is not correct. Of course, it was not our intention to provide incorrect information. Please accept our apologies! We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to put this right 😊.
The M-Budget household paper in the 2-pack was not only FSC-certified recycled paper, but the manufacturer also had a unique production process that wound the sheets particularly compactly onto the roll. We were also very satisfied with this product and would have liked to continue offering it.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer decided to stop producing recycled products for strategic reasons. We therefore had to find a new supplier who could also supply us with recycled paper with FSC certification. We are aware that the new product with the article number 526010600000 is not directly comparable with its predecessor.
The responsible body is of course informed about the honest feedback. They are carrying out checks. We are sorry that we do not currently have any more positive information. Kind regards, Lea

And why exactly does it have to be FSC-certified and recycled?

Hi Magnoliapower, thank you for your inquiry. For sustainability reasons, our paper products are FSC certified. The previous article was made from recycled pulp - so it was important to us to make the successor from this material too. Kind regards, Lea

The FSC certificate is certainly just as credible and high quality as the MSC certificate for marine products... 😄
