I would ask Migros to offer dosing balls for liquid detergent as products for sale, i.e. with a price. The way you are handling this now leaves the stale aftertaste that you are patronizing us customers on the one hand and that you simply have no space on the shelves for free products on the other. It's not worth it, so please offer us the product at a reasonable price! Thank you

I read what had already been discussed here before writing my post. The customer service in Münchenbuchsee is not aware that they sell them. Information: "The balls have not been available for a long time", but I have the need for a new ball! Thanks Franz

In fact, the customer service team at Shoppyland gave me one of these balls in the size I wanted, confirming my suspicion that the shelves at Migros are generally expensive, so no free products can be placed there. Why else would I have to go to customer service?

Anyone who asks for one at the customer service desk does so because they actually need one, but if they are on the shelf for free, people will take them even if they don't need them, simply because they are free. This means that unnecessarily more balls have to be produced than are actually needed - at least that's my thinking.
It's absolutely the same as with cutlery (in the past), but Migros makes a statement like "We want to be ecological, there are no more balls", which is simply something completely different. And you feel like you've been taken for a fool. Sometimes I wonder if people are so naive and swallow the pill (apparently) because as soon as someone says "we're looking at the environment" they say ahsooo yes then I understand, I'm for the environment too, you're right. It's all about saving costs and distributing less for free lol. It's funny that nobody from Migros said that a year ago with the customer service, see in the first topic, but they sent it here by post via a forum post. Otherwise I'm sure too many people would pick one up again😉 Or they recognized the "customer need" because for a year everyone in the store was asking where the balls were, and are now secretly offering them under the (information) counter😉 Either way, case solved, yay😁
But I would also prefer to give a product the space than a free product... (But you could possibly place a notice board for the balls next to the washing powder) Regarding the free cutlery: I think Migros also receives certain guidelines from the federal government (or EU) to eliminate or reduce packaging and other plastic. Then the IG Detail will think about solutions. I only know the free distribution of forks/spoons/knives from Switzerland (supermarkets I mean). As you know (😜), I live near the German border... I haven't seen free cutlery anywhere in the supermarkets here
