No company stops production if it receives enough pay for production. I'm sure you knew that long before we did. So why beat around the bush: production stopped because migros doesn't pay enough.

probably yes... but imagine... you have a machine, only Migros buys certain products from it... the machine breaks... would you order or invest in a new machine afterwards? My guess is more likely... Migros has bought less and less from Hunziker, so the Hunziker company doesn't care if the machine breaks.Migros still buys some items from them... let's see... I think the Haribo selection here in Migros is ridiculous... either they offer a lot more varieties, or they don't... the lousy 10 varieties of Haribo certainly have the same market share as Gomz... Instead of Haribo, Migros would have preferred to include Hitchies...

This is by far the best herbal tea. I can't imagine there being too little demand for it. Ricola, on the other hand, is just dishwater. Put it back in the range.

I don't think the answer that it wasn't bought enough is justified. At my Migros it was either on sale or I "only" got 5 doses. I find it very good as it helps me with my hoarseness faster than the pharmacy medicines. Especially with the Icelandic moss tablets, which are no longer available.
I have even infected friends and acquaintances with this tea who have the same problem as I do with my voice.
So no one wants it", they were always sold out or had too little when I went to Switzerland.
I was horrified to discover today that the tea is no longer available.
Since my childhood (40 years!) this has been THE tea that reliably helps against coughs and can be prepared in seconds.
Demand should definitely be there. Not high but constant over the years (one tin can last for 2-3 flu seasons or half a pneumonia...).
It would be really great if a solution could be found with the manufacturer for this great product. And we don't have to fall back on half as good products with additives from some giant corporation.
It shouldn't be the price. The product is unrivaled and I personally don't care about the price.
