Where are the M-Budget pineapples??? Not available in 9500 Wil for a week. Please give them back to us! They are the best! What's going on!

Really? The ones I had were inedible, totally sour.
There were some that were labeled extra sweet - they were delicious. And these are also a bit bigger.
I discovered the pineapples from Lidl and Aldi as a good alternative, I think they are also labeled "extra sweet" and are a lot cheaper than the "normal" pineapples from Migros... Are the ones from Aldi and Lidl really sweet (the longer you leave them to ripen, the sweeter they become)?
They are a little more expensive than the budget pineapples. And more sour.
I really hope that the budget pineapple will be back on the shelves soon.
You could let them ripen a little longer at home (before you peel them), then each pineapple will be sweeter.

Then the pineapples from Lidl and Aldi are probably not so suitable for you, as they tend to be sweeter. Although I have also bought sour pineapples from Lidl and Aldi.

Now that you mention it... I'm wondering the same thing myself... It will probably take time for Migros to clarify what's going on with the budget pineapple. Or Migros no longer likes to write everywhere, we are looking into the matter, etc., because there are perhaps a little too many posts at the moment asking what happened to these and those products... Or Migros is trying to find a more creative answer than "insufficient customer demand" and "lack of space in the rack"?
