Update 9: Abos, Filter und Community-News in die Mailbox

In addition to celebrating 10 years of Migipedia, we have also been working. In this update, I would like to introduce you to three topics. Let's start with what some of you have been asking for and I promised you: On the Activitystream page, you can now not only filter by reviews, questions, answers and forum posts, but also narrow down these activities to food or specialist market products. My tip for anyone who only wants to view some of the posts from the community: Click together your view in the activity stream and mark this link in your favorites in the browser. I hope that we have been able to restore some of the order you wanted. Before there is any feedback: Yes, there are no specialist market forums (or not yet). The posts from the Migipedia forum are simply displayed.Subscribe to forum posts for silent readersNot all community members want to actively participate in discussions. Nevertheless, they are interested in the progress of discussions. That is why we have introduced the subscription function. It is now possible to subscribe to a so-called topic. In this case, you will be notified by e-mail every time a new answer is published within the topic - WITHOUT having contributed to the discussion yourself. Of course, the subscription can be stopped at any time. The subscription function still has a lot of potential. Without wanting to make any firm promises, the following subscriptions are certainly conceivable: follow an author, follow a product category, subscribe to open questions about products. The list could be extended almost indefinitely.Community news in your mailboxSo much happens on Migipedia - it's almost impossible to keep up with everything. Admittedly, even I miss something from time to time. For this reason, we have decided to send out regular community news by e-mail. However, the community news is only indirectly related to the Migipedia newsletter of yesteryear. The content of the Community News is generated more or less automatically. The latest post in the forum, the most read post, topics related to your subscriptions, new products, products that you have not yet rated - such news could be conceivable. In the longer term, we could even include personalized content in the news based on your Migipedia behavior. However, the community news would only be launched in a few weeks' time. What expectations would you have of such a community news item? With these three topics, I conclude my Update 9 and am curious to see how you will react to the new functions. With best regards Philipp
