Valuing Migros products correctly

Migros-Produkte richtig bewerten

You, the Migros community, are particularly diligent when it comes to rating products. You write around 16,000 reviews every week. In around 80% of your reviews, you give our products 4 or 5 stars. But you're not always so satisfied. In 2021, you only gave our products one star in 6.4% of all reviews. That's ok. Because we are constantly working to optimize our products, and your reviews are particularly helpful. And that's why I'd like to use this article to start the discussion about the "right" way to rate products. It's not (just) the stars that count, but the contentOf course, the stars are important. They help other customers as well as our product managers to find their way around quickly. But so that we can learn from your product reviews, it is particularly interesting for us to read the text of your reviews. What tasted good, what didn't? What could be better? Have you noticed any changes to the product in recent weeks and months? But of course we also like to read "Super" as a comment in a 5-star rating 😉. We can't and don't want to force anyone to leave long comments in the reviews. But: I have the feeling that the number of reviews that are of no use to other customers or us is increasing. I assume that you also value honest and helpful feedback in your work, relationships, family and circle of friends. It's the same for us. I know you write product reviews voluntarily, and we are infinitely grateful to you for that. But not every product review is equally helpful. So thank you to everyone who makes the effort to write reviews. And who knows, maybe this post will serve as motivation for others to use one or two more words in future😉 Many thanks to what I consider to be the best community in the world for your open ear, your reviews and your commitment. Best regards, Philipp
