The documents for the new Cumulus credit card state that invoices can only be obtained free of shipping costs via the one app. In the app there is a link to the eBill website and that this option must be activated via e-banking or eBill. Why do you need the card issuer's IBAN? If you want to transfer an amount to your card account, then wait until the invoice arrives. Because without a reference number, Viseca won't know which card account to credit the amount to.

There are indeed reasons why you need an IBAN and reference number: -- I have to pay an amount that is higher than the credit limit (prepayment) -- I turn the credit account into a prepaid account and always want a positive balance -- I want to keep a prepaid account as a partner account - the only way to do this is via a credit card account.

It is perfectly possible to make a payment without a reference number, as long as the card number is stated as the intended purpose. If the reference number is missing, the only consequence is that the transfer cannot be allocated automatically and Viseca has to enter it manually.

So if you want to make a payment without a reference number, you have to enter the IBAN used before the introduction of the QR-bill. If no such number is known, you must ask the payee for one.

The counter staff need the IBAN as well as the name and address of the recipient, and an additional message (reason for payment) is also possible. @sirio60 : With many e-banking apps, you can create, print out or email invoices for your own account. If I receive such an invoice, at least the recipient's Iban and recipient (including bank) are on it, what may be missing is the amount (e.g. if discount is possible) with amount but without sender (association contributions) - then you just write this down by hand when you pay in at the post office counter - this data is scanned in, i.e. make an effort to write it legibly! A special situation is the payment at the post office counter without a QR payment slip. This situation for charitable donations is very often found in obituaries, where IBAN, recipient and reason for payment are given. The link refers to ProSenectute - i.e. the contact persons are precisely the group of people who could still have difficulties with this changeover (adjust standing orders (or have them adjusted)! )

Here is the next hurdle. In the eBill portal, I need the 16-digit card account number, which must begin with 110, to register with Viseca Payment Services SA. This means that the 16-digit credit card number does not work. What's more, I can't find one on the letter. What should I do?
