Who knows? I recently criticized the Fuchs dairy about the sugar content of the fruit yoghurt. The answer was that the fruit taste would disappear with even less sugar....... "with even less sugar, the product unfortunately loses its fruit taste..." My feeling is: is there so little fruit in it that this is supposed to be concealed with sugar? But I don't feel like an expert. Who knows more?
Yes, you are right. Too bad Fuchs reacted relatively aggressively to my objection, and not as professionally as you suggested.
I don't have FB, so I don't know exactly what went on there. But what I do know, or had to realize, is that not every company employs social media professionals who take care of FB, Twitter, etc. and accordingly write professional responses when there is criticism from customers. Many companies still have room for improvement there. If it really was a social media professional on Fuchs' part who wrote you an aggressive reply, well, what can you say? He must have missed his calling... or got up on the wrong side of the bed

That's how it is. I think that says something about the company. It's not as if social media has only been around for a few weeks and is something completely new; apart from that, I think that if a company has a social media account and/or is represented on such platforms as FB etc., then it is imperative to entrust a social media professional with the management of such accounts, everything else backfires and can possibly ruin the company's reputation...

And they would have kept a customer who is looking forward to the new product instead of telling her colleagues, customers and friends about the rude tone

What did you find rude/aggressive about the tone? I can't understand it, the statement was very undifferentiated and generally directed against the Fuchs dairy yogurts if I look it up. The yogurts taste great to me and they already have less sugar in them than last year. The Fuchs dairy writes that sugar has been reduced, etc. I don't think your attitude is fair to the manufacturer

Hoi ayabakan, thank you for your positive feedback. We have now also received a more detailed response from Fuchs - they are sorry that you were not completely satisfied with the first response. I am happy to forward you a summary of the statement: It is usually not so easy for manufacturers to reduce the amount of sugar added in order to have less sugar in the end product and still retain the taste. The fruit taste decreases and changes when sugar is reduced and the amount of fruit base remains the same. It is then no longer the fruit taste that customers know and want. The Fuchs dairy has had this experience with sugar reduction and has sold fewer yoghurts. It is therefore reducing the sugar in small steps wherever possible and regularly reviews the recipes. The yoghurts currently have many fans as they are. Yoghurt is basically a sour milk product and therefore tastes rather sour. Unfortunately, this is not popular with everyone. Many consumers have become accustomed to the ratio between sugar and fruit flavor - they no longer like yogurt in a different combination. That is why the Fuchs dairy's philosophy is to gradually reduce the sugar in order to get customers used to the change. Kind regards, Angela
