Why are there no more sugar-free chocolate Christmas balls? Why are people simply being discriminated against?
It was also promised again and again that sugar-free black chocolate balls would finally be coming. Because diabetics and other people also want to take advantage of this offer (please don't come up with the chocolate bar variant now).

We were happy to check with the product managers for you. So far, we have not noticed any great demand for sugar-free chocolate Christmas balls. We are always monitoring trends and consumer demand. We are happy to take your input on board.
Our standard range includes sugar-free products that you are already familiar with - namely chocolate bars and truffles.

I didn't really expect any other answer. We customers are constantly being dumped with the same justifications. And like me, I didn't want to know any varieties of chocolate bars........
Every year at Easter and Christmas there was at least one variety of sugar-free Easter eggs and Christmas baubles. And now suddenly not anymore. It's simply incomprehensible and it makes me angry all over again. What's the point of all this? And then there's this stupid excuse about the sugar-free bars. Yes, there are, but there are also lots of normal chocolates. So why are there also normal chocolate balls on offer? Where is the consideration and a little equality for diabetics or people who simply want to eat sugar-free?
I am disappointed and angry. Migros is becoming increasingly customer-unfriendly.......

Of course it's not our intention to upset you - on the contrary, the satisfaction of our customers is our top priority. As I said, we are happy to take your input on board and review it. We just can't promise you that it will be implemented. It really depends on the demand.

We understand your wish and the arguments in favor of a sugar-free version, but an item still has to sell to some extent in order to be included in the range. So far, the demand for sugar-free Christmas baubles is simply still too low. We are trying to follow the trend, at least in the standard range, and offer the sugar-free chocolates already mentioned. We will certainly look at your wishes again when we put together our next Christmas range, but we can't make any promises. We hope you can understand our position despite the disappointment. That would put an end to "discrimination".
Since 2014, there have no longer been any legally regulated diabetic products in Switzerland, as diabetics, like the rest of the population, should eat a balanced and healthy diet in accordance with the Swiss food pyramid.

I think Frederica just wanted to briefly summarize the current political and community attitude towards diabetic products.
The fact is that the previous substitute fructose turned out to be just as unsuitable.
Diabetics are not dependent on special products, but must have their sugar consumption under control. So normal chocolate is fine. I grew up with diabetics and we never had any special products. Rather, we reduced/left out sugar when we made our own; it's often not necessary...
