I very much regret that you have taken the refill bag for CHF 0.45 out of the range. Why? Doesn't it make more sense than buying a new jar of cinnamon every time? Is it more sustainable?

Did you mean this one? https://produkte.migros.ch/zimt-gemahlen-85g It's still there, but maybe not in all stores anymore... Have a look under store search.

No. Not this one. Was a smaller bag....

I only know this one... In this case, it was probably taken out of the range (due to lack of space on the shelf, insufficient customer demand, etc.).
Hello Mala82, thank you for your message. We have effectively removed the refill bag you missed from our range. Unfortunately, it was not as popular with all our customers as it was with you. With the targeted revision of the range, we would like to meet the wishes of the majority of our customers - we ask for your understanding. We assure you that we will examine such a decision very carefully. We are currently revising the range of refill bags - we will be happy to incorporate your input. Kind regards, Matteo

I almost can't believe it, cinnamon is a frequently used baking ingredient and the spice refill bags are also very hard to find in my store and as someone wrote a few days ago, the spice shelf is a big mess of brands, varieties and qualities more structure would be helpful!

It's terrible what's going on. Buy the cinnamon from an Asian shop. It's even cheaper

Exactly, thank you! I'm also avoiding more and more.
The problem with the refill bag was that it was more expensive than the fresh jar. The filling quantity of 27g for 0.45 in the jar, against 25g for 0.55 in the sachet. Thanks Internet it never forgets https://www.pinterest.ch/pin/685813849503057446/ here the cinnamon sachet was the reason for filling something at the cost of blahblah. It doesn't matter what counts: Doesn't it itch the customer who sees: huh, 10 centimes more and I have to decant it myself? Nope, of course that's why fewer people bought the refill bag. I would have welcomed an exchange of prices, wwr wants glass should pay 10RAPPEN more. The production of the jars alone requires so much raw material and energy! The sticking on of labels and glue, making lids and screwing them on, the extra weight during transportation and more CO2 footprint, you also have to pack it differently so that the glass doesn't break, more storage space used in the truck... If Migros cared about sustainability they would have changed the prices and OHWOW people are buying the refill bags!!! It's madness!!! But nobody would think of that🙄
Yes, the missing packet of cinnamon is a tiny example of how much bigger things go completely wrong in this world. Strictly speaking, you have to buy a jar of every spice once in your life and then never again. But the packaging industry and the whole rat's tail behind it also wants to earn money.

Today I accidentally looked for cinnamon to refill the jar in MIGROS, couldn't find it, flash of inspiration: MIGROS doesn't want what we customers want.
