Hello Community. Does anyone remember this Migros water ice from the 80s? Classic apple-flavored Stängeli ice cream. I seem to remember that there was a picture of a child with a football on the packaging. Does anyone have any further information, pictures or similar ?

would say yes it is!
However, my memory is very faint, it was a few years ago!
And in 1981 I was just 6 in the fall?
But I think that later in the 1980s, a water ice called Grüner Apfel,
was offered in a different packaging. I'm not quite sure anymore, but I'll get in touch with
my mother to get more information.
Fantastic. It was exactly this ice cream. Thanks for the picture....my memory was not so inaccurate.

I understand your displeasure. It is often not satisfactory for us either to "only" give you the answer that we are passing on the input. I would love to go straight to Midor in Meilen and dig out the old ice cream recipe and start producing it :) Unfortunately, that's not possible. It's often not so easy to reintroduce them because some of the machines no longer exist.
I would be happy to clarify which reintroductions, e.g. for ice cream, have been made at the customer's request.

A brief answer to your question as to whether any products will ever be reintroduced: The Glace Mixi Maxi was reintroduced to the range in 2012 at the request of customers (Migipedia vote). However, the product did not become a high-flyer. In 2012/2013, we conducted a very large ice cream survey with Mary Jane's, where every user could submit their recipe suggestion. In the final vote, the Swiss Chilbi ice cream won. Currently, the three former cream ice cream sticks lemon, banana and hazelnut were put to the vote on Migipedia for a one-off revival for the 2018 season, which was won by the hazelnut ice cream and will remain in the range for a year.

Please, please yes - the "Green Apple" ice cream could come back as a seasonal product for just one summer, couldn't it?
According to information I received from Midor years ago, the recipe for the apple ice cream unfortunately no longer exists.
