In the stores in north-western Switzerland, too, the stick was literally hidden away. It seems as if it is more profitable to buy and sell (almost twice as) expensive than to produce it yourself (and thus preserve jobs). Too bad. I am disappointed.

Hello wedge76, we have completely removed the Alvaros deodorant stick from our range. Unfortunately, demand was too low. There are also no remaining stocks available. Why are the products that I think are great always taken out of the range due to lack of demand? The Alvaros deodorant stick really was one of the best deodorants without aluminum salts!
I miss it too. At first I thought it was just not available in my store, until I realized that it's no longer available anywhere. It's a real shame. I've been buying it for many years and haven't found anything equivalent at Migros.

I have now tried Tabac as a possible alternative. The application would fit, but the fragrance has nothing to do with the old beloved Alvaros. Please bring back the Alvaros! We miss it!
