The Farmer has been my favorite since childhood. A few weeks ago I picked up a pack and thought it tasted funny. I assumed that perhaps I had picked up a strange series. Today I bought the Farmer again and it tastes the same as it did a few weeks ago. I really don't like the new recipe. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hello Moni7K, thank you for your inquiry. Due to the growing customer demand for an alternative to palm oil, we have decided to produce the Farmer Bar with sunflower oil. At the same time, we have also changed the manufacturer. Our aim is clear: Farmer should continue to taste at least as good as countless customers have loved it for many years. We are currently working flat out to make improvements so that the bar will soon taste at least as good as it used to. We are very grateful for your feedback. Best regards, Noemi
Just one question, if this is allowed to come out of the internals: Are the production facilities different, or are the raw materials (apart from palm oil) the same or are they sourced elsewhere? Because if it's not 1:1 the same, I'm not surprised that the gabze bar is so different. Especially the taste, as if it can be so different if it is due to say 1g of palm oil. Nope. But it is taken as reason no.1, not that the producer is different, that only came up weeks later.
Above all, we will never find out from Migros why it terminated its decades-long, extremely successful cooperation with HACO. Did HACO say that without palm oil we would never be able to do it the same way? Or will it just be a little more expensive? That would call for investigative journalism...

It's better if Migros produces it in its own factory (Midor)... Frey loses against Lindt Midor wins against Haco...
