Why are more and more "branded articles" replacing tried and tested own brands? This only makes Migros interchangeable! Aldi and Lidl are also successful with no-name products.

So Lidl has significantly more branded products than Migros. For me: Lidl: Coop Aldi:Migros Aldi has long carried few branded items in Germany, but in recent years has added a lot more branded items to its range. I think there are enough people who would rather drink Fanta than Orangina, for example. Rather drink Ovomaltine than Einmalzin. Rather eat Ben&jerry than Mary Jane...

So when I look at the stores where I often go shopping, I would say Coop has the most branded products, then Lidl (although Lidl has a good mix of branded and own products), then Migros/Aldi/Denner. I think it's still difficult to say...
People here in the forum are constantly asking for external brands to be added to the range and then wondering why own brands are disappearing 🤔

Third-party and own brands would be best.

So that it's as narrow as at Denner's? ↵You always have to drive through half the store because many of the connections between two aisles are too narrow to get through with a wheelchair 😠

I mean: Where are Migros' unique selling points? I could just as easily shop elsewhere. And maybe save a few more centimes. That's no longer my Migros.

Denner practically only has small stores (at least here where I live), and yes, they are really small. Denner just wants to offer as much as possible, especially promotions (beer, wine, water etc. just need space). You could make a good mix with own and third-party brands in the Migros stores (smaller stores); in the larger stores that shouldn't be a problem, in my opinion they have enough space for both. But that's probably not Migros' strategy...

That's not true, I'm also in a wheelchair and can get through all the Denner stores easily.

Well, it always depends on the width of the wheelchair (80cm for me) and then you still need space for your hands. With a rollator (70cm), on the other hand, no problem, but then your hands aren't in the way either.

Then I would look into getting another wheelchair.
