Please stop all this nonsense, everyone has loyalty cards, everyone does other additional things. Better net prices and that's it. If it goes on like this, I'll look for another supplier.

Supplier?
Every consumer is free to choose where he/she shops and whether or not he/she participates in a customer program. If I have a coffee at Glattzentrum every week, then I couldn't care less about the loyalty stamp card. The same goes for my few purchases at Globus. And so I don't get much of their "promotions". So what?
Of course, if I had food envy, I would be very reluctant to do without the benefits that the others get. That would make me feel second class. In that case, of course, I would never leave Cumulus if the others didn't do the same ... Equal treatment for all!!!

We like the Cumulus card. I think it's nice to occasionally receive mail from Migros and not just phone or insurance bills. And yes, of course discounts at Denner, for example, are nice, but handing in a blue receipt at the till instead of a 10 note is also nice.
As Michi already said, if you don't like Cumulus, why are you participating?
I completely agree with you Skifan, I also think it's great when I can pay with the blue receipt. It's a good feeling when you can earn your Migros shopping so easily. I wouldn't want to miss this customer service. Nobody is forced to use the card.

The loyalty cards are not a gift. They serve to bind customers to the chain. The customer pays for the card system with higher product prices. However, the customer does not realize this because he does not see the price calculation. However, the card system costs several times more than what the customer gets back. So, without realizing it, they fall victim to a scam. Of course, you can also say that this creates jobs, which is true, but the wholesaler still makes a profit. However, those who want to pay more and then enjoy the pleasure of paying with cumulus points, which are worth less than the additional price of the goods, should not lose the joy of it. The Swiss are (still) doing very well and do not (yet) have to watch every centime. Have fun accumulating!

Yes Skifan, I also think it's nice to get waste paper from Migros, because my life is so boring that I even enjoy advertising.
@acko By net price, I mean the price I would have to pay if I didn't have to co-finance (uncollected) Cumulus points, bonus schemes, Manias and similar nonsense, i.e. so-called customer loyalty measures. I don't want to stick any pictures in, let any balls roll around or spin any twirls. I want to eat cheaply and clean cheaply. If I want to play, I buy something in the toy department. Lego or Playmobil would be on my list.
Sure, that's up to you. But please pay for it yourself!

But it's amazing how this topic awakens the senses. It's good to know that customer loyalty is financed by the customer and not by the company. As a cooperative, Migros is not legally allowed to make a profit. That's why it relies on constantly renewing its stores and investing in the entire production area. However, it is also allowed to pay better wages. It presents itself as innovative, social and ecological. These are buzzwords that customers like to hear. But promises should be backed up by action and this is not possible with the constellation of this company. The apparatus is too big to react quickly. And unfortunately, customers can be sold for fools, which benefits the giant. So the customers urgently need to wake up.
What if all "non-collectors" were to receive a discount of 1 franc? (Do you collect xxx-Mania or do you take a 1 franc discount?) Then some moms and dads would probably stop this nonsense.
