I know you don't want to read this now: but why are you buying this product at all when you are already aware of the waste problem? I also know that the producer shouldn't even offer such packaging, but the customer is also partly responsible. If the customer no longer buys it, the producer will no longer produce it. Well, I see it the same way you do and think it's just as awful, but you won't get far with it at Migros. It's not a Migros product.

Now that we have read l'Oreal's excuses, a little info: A few weeks ago, I saw that Eucerin was offering the cream in an inner pot - hygienically sealed airtight with a film. So you only have to replace the inner pot, which is a brilliant step forward. Unfortunately, only a few retailers still offer them. Eucerin calls it a refill capsule. Another example are the aspartame-based Sucorine sweetener tablets (comparable to Assugrin Gold, tastes better than cyclamate). These (blue) used to be available in a simple container without additional packaging. Now the tablets are offered in an elaborate dosing can with additional blister packaging and even more plastic, which the world has hardly been waiting for. On the other hand, only Migros knows why the cyclamate-based tablets (red) are allowed to remain packaged as they always have been. And I don't even want to talk about the impact on the price.
