I always just tear off the strip at the top. Then I close the bag with a clothespin. I find this more practical than using the adhesive strip.

Exactly, I sometimes have trouble opening this type of packaging at all. With one tug... the grated cheese flies in all directions.

we are also always bothered by the "cumbersome" packaging, the worst are the promotional packs, when 2 packs are together, most of them break when torn apart.

With Duo-Pack, I use the scissors to make sure nothing happens. There's nothing more annoying than having two broken packs.

But our Swiss Migros should be able to copy something like this. After all, a lot of milk packaging looks the same.
The new grated cheese M classic Mexican Style has worked well with the packaging. It stands up well on the table and in the fridge and can be resealed.
