According to Migipedia, the Eimalzin dough is no longer available. A block used to cost Fr. 4.20.

Today I took a closer look at the ingredients of Einmalzin.
I am so disappointed that in addition to coconut oil, the unhealthy/disease-causing palm oil is also mixed in :(
The competitor product sets a better example and uses rapeseed oil.
Is it possible to do without palm oil here?

I have just received feedback from the responsible product manager. Migros is already working on replacing the palm oil in Eimalzin with rapeseed oil. However, the implementation will take a moment, as it has to be tested carefully to ensure that the taste does not change.

My statement refers to the Eimalzin powder. For the other Eimalzin products, there is currently no concrete solution to replace this; it is difficult to find a substitute that does not deviate from the previous quality in terms of processing technology, consistency and taste. However, Chocolat Frey has been investigating how palm oil can be replaced for some time.

According to the list of ingredients on Migipedia, the Eimalzin sachets are already made with rapeseed oil instead of palm oil. Palm oil is still listed as an ingredient in the other products. When will the changeover be completed?
