It's Friday. What have you been up to in the last few weeks? My colleagues have been testing and tinkering with me. And I'm delighted that we can start with the new "jump to where I was last" function. The community has been waiting for this function, judging by some of the comments in the forum. From now on, you can jump directly from the post overview to where you were last. This means that if I want to read a new post, I will start at the beginning, but if I have already read a few replies, I will jump to where I was last. It may sound a bit complicated at first, but I recommend you give it a try. And how does it feel? Now we know what registered community members have looked at - otherwise we couldn't let you jump to where you were last. And with this and other information, we can also activate a new function. From now on, discussions that you have not yet read will be marked with a small dot in the overview. This allows you to see how a discussion you would like to read has progressed since your last visit. The small eye symbol also shows how often a post has been viewed. Every single view of a discussion counts here. For example, if I look at a topic three times, three views are counted. I think this is another big step forward for the forum in terms of user-friendliness. What do you think? In Update 3, I introduced you to the "skip to the end" function. This function may become superfluous in the future with Update 5, but we have decided to continue to provide the skip to end arrow. And we are already working on further community-related functions. More on this in a few weeks in Update 6. With best regards Philipp
