Update 15: Migipedia has adapted to you once again
Update 15: Migipedia hat sich einmal mehr euch angepasst
This morning Migipedia.ch was unavailable for about five minutes. Now you know why: we've been working hard over the last few months and today the revamped site went online. I'll introduce you to a few new features, the others you can discover for yourself.More community, more mobile usersNow I have to be a little careful with my descriptions. I have Migipedia open on my laptop as I write this post. However, this puts me in a minority. Over 75% of you visit the Migros community platform on a cell phone. That's why I'm going to keep my comments general. Because not everything is exactly the same on desktop and mobile - I personally recommend that you definitely use Migipedia on your cell phone. Here we go: The Migipedia home page now presents three topics side by side. Next to it (desktop) or above it (mobile) is a summary of community activities and the login function or profile. As before, the next section is the introduction to our products. There are over 70,000 products to rate on Migipedia. It's not easy to find your way around. That's why we recommend that you link your profile to your Cumulus number - just in case you haven't already done so. That way we can recommend products that you might have an opinion on. If you are logged in and click on one of these product recommendations, you will experience something never seen before on Migipedia. We'll take you by the hand, so to speak, and guide you through three products that you can rate directly. If you don't (yet) have an opinion on a product, you can simply skip it. Migipedia's range of functions has remained the same. And now some of you may be wondering why all this? To summarize: We have adapted even more to your usage behavior. As described at the beginning, over 75% of you visit Migipedia on a cell phone. This meant that we had to improve Migipedia in this respect - in the sense of "what if Migipedia was an app?". Content must be quickly accessible. The website has to respond quickly. Who has time to search and wait? You'll see that a lot has happened. But of course the community would be nothing if it didn't have any members - and you are them. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for all your product reviews, questions, answers and discussions and to ask you once again... ... to let us know what you think. We would be delighted to receive feedback on the redesign here in the forum. And if you prefer to remain a little more anonymous, you can also rate the website on the Migipedia homepage. Simply go to Migipedia.ch, wait a short moment (approx. 10 seconds) and a survey will pop up. We hope you enjoy the new, modern and, in our eyes, much tidier community website. Before I forget: Take a look at the welcome message on the homepage and reload the page a few times. Isn't that the kind of gimmick that makes all the difference in the end? Best regards, Philipp
