For my birthday I wish that the good John Adams would also make underwear in XXL - I am quite big in the universe and unfortunately XL is not big enough for me
...while I'm wishing - an expansion of the clothing department in Migros Zurich City would be great - there's not much for men apart from underwear - perhaps you could consider an expansion when a space becomes available again?
I think these John Adams are generally cut small?
Even people of "normal build" need a size XL (my husband) and my son, 15 years old and slim, is a size L in them. Isn't there something wrong?

... you can see this from the fact that the XL are always gone first and XXL customers are forced to help themselves to XL.... and next week there seems to be another such promotion!

I'll probably never figure out clothes sizes - throughout my adult life I've always worn different sizes in parallel and found everything to be equally casual - from S to XL, depending on the manufacturer (?). There is probably no logical explanation for this and buying clothes is and remains a game of chance.
Hello everyone, thank you for your patience, it depends on which brand our John Adams underwear is compared to, because the market is large, we have compared our size chart with three other brands, including Sloggi, and our sizes correspond to the usual sizes, so they are not smaller in comparison. XXL from "skiny" - as an example - has 6-7cm more in circumference, but is similar in cut to John Adams.
The mere fact that the XL size is gone first indicates that XXL customers are also helping themselves to the XL size of John Adams - and Migros doesn't have XXL....
No wonder? After all, Migros no longer wants large-bodied male customers: the jeans are only available up to size 38.

We can understand your disappointment. We have not carried the XXL size in our range since around 2009/2010 and there are currently no plans to reintroduce it.
We have discontinued this size, along with others, as part of a product range revision. We decided to take this step after sales had been declining for some time. Another reason is our shrinking clothing space: it is forcing us to streamline our range.

The size 38 mentioned is the inch size (American size), which varies depending on the brand.
We offer a large selection of sizes and lengths in our permanent jeans range. 38 inches corresponds to an approximate XXL. Admittedly, this is not standard on the market and is therefore not to be found everywhere. With the Stooker jeans brand, however, we even stock size 40 inches.
Compared to our competitors, our pants are cut roughly the same, if not slightly larger. Thanks to many years of experience, cooperation with cutting technicians and fitting on models, our sizes in clothing have proven themselves over the years and shown that they are right for our clothing customers.
Even if we have to stick to what is customary on the market, we still try to make as many customers as possible happy and to realize what is possible.

I've always looked for XXL since then and haven't found it anywhere - no wonder if they've been dropped. Too bad, as a "Migros child" I'll have to stock up elsewhere. Could Migros sell the XXL sizes via LeShop (mail order/depot,...) ? (instead of me ;-)
