But dear Migros, in my opinion, you've missed this whole app thing somewhat - please excuse my directness.
Now that your big orange competitor has come up with a useful app for the Supercard and Hello Family, perhaps you should finally think about other systems too...
As I can't use the M-Go app, I can't make any judgments about its content and use. But activated e-vouchers are not bad...
yes, I also think it's a shame that only iPhone apps are available... What about Android? When will there be something for us?

As far as e-vouchers are concerned, I am also enthusiastic about the Coop version. It would be great if Migros were to offer this type of voucher soon too. Preferably in such a way that they can also be activated on the computer - for all those who (have to) manage without a smartphone.
Perhaps you could also think about the 2-fold vouchers... Instead of printing them out at the checkout, perhaps load them into a kind of account and from there they can be activated as required. I think there are (almost) too many possibilities, but in my opinion it often comes down to the fact that you have to take all generations - customer segments - into account...

how do you want to retrieve the receipts when they are saved on the SelfScan? Whether I scan the receipt or press a button doesn't change anything for me. I don't forget to scan the receipt because it's in front of the card. I don't know whether I would press the button or think about validating the saved receipt at the checkout!

Very simple: the same as in the Coop. If you have activated the vouchers you want to use, they are automatically used when you make a purchase.
You should be able to do exactly the same with the 2x Cumulus vouchers. Instead of the cash register printing them out, they would be booked directly into the Cumulus account, which could be communicated to the user by e-mail or SMS. Of course, users should be able to choose whether they want to continue receiving printed receipts. After all, if I want to redeem my latest receipt that I received at Melectronics, for example, the next time I go shopping in the supermarket next to Melectronics, I don't want to have to go home first to activate the receipt on my computer...
@Istanbul: Mathomas has described it aptly! The receipt should be saved on the card by activation. And then, whether SelfScan or cash register, swipe the card and it will be accepted. For on the go, activation would then also be possible within the app...
Just remember that there are people who don't have a smartphone. (Me ) Oh yes, and there's no cell phone reception in my Migros store!
Casalinga66: that's exactly what I was talking about with the different customer segments. However, it is possible to "find" customers in different ways (and it works for Coop too). In addition, Mathomas' option is also adapted to the PC, for example.
I don't want to dwell too much on the details here, but perhaps such suggestions will give those responsible exactly the right idea that will make Migros appear a little more progressive in this area...

The receipt is always printed out when the purchase limit is reached, unless the cardholder has electronically suppressed the printout on some end device!
I don't know what my wife, who married a computer scientist 40 years ago but has never sat at a computer, would do!
