Now you are instructed to shop for 100Fr so that you get a 2-fold receipt. As a single parent with one child, I rarely get this amount.
Previously you got 10 Fr from 1000Fr within two months. Even small amounts were counted towards this.
Multiplying the 5Fr Cumulus vouchers does absolutely nothing for me.
Coop had a great system for a while: if you paid for 50Fr and with a 5x voucher you got a 6x voucher, which you got for purchases of 60Fr or more.
I was always a Migros kid, but now I've been going to Coop more often as a points hunter.
Is it just me? Do you think this is better with a double voucher for purchases of 100Fr or more?

@sandy39: Nothing could be simpler: you can combine several (small) purchases, then you will also receive a purchase amount of >= CHF 100 and thus a double bonus coupon. Another advantage: You don't have to drive there several times (gasoline/car/public transportation costs).

@sandra
The Coop points hunter promotion in September with the staggered amounts, as you mention, was a pure scam. It's good that the promotion was limited to a short time. That's why the Migros bonus coupon is better. In terms of the amount, it is perhaps a little too high at CHF 100 and with the staggering to the next step of 5x from CHF 500, it's pretty bad, but still acceptable.
I also find the double vouchers unwieldy. I often go shopping for bread, yogurt and fruit in the evening. At the end of the month, I end up with over 1,000, but rarely 100 per purchase. And if I do buy a larger amount, I certainly don't have the receipt with me because I don't always carry it with me because I have two wallets.
There would certainly be a better solution. Coop can already load discount coupons onto the card. Why not Cumulus too?
Hello
I would also like to comment on these till receipts. I find them very unwieldy and, as you can read here, often confusing! It's bad that a tried and tested system has been changed. Although I can understand the basic idea. However, the implementation is not happy. I can't spontaneously do my weekly shopping because I have to get the receipt at home first... Yes, I don't always have it with me because my wife sometimes goes shopping. So you have to jump after the receipt or do without it... Is that what Migros wants in order to save points in this way too...? Because we also belong to the group that now collects fewer points with the new regulation. In any case, my wife and I are also "Migros children". However, I often catch myself "cheating" because I like another store better AND I have to go and get the receipt etc...
hello dear people
with this from-100FR-2-fold voucher, which is handed to me at the checkout, the responsibility for multiple points has simply been delegated to the customer and THE CUSTOMER now has to make sure that the double is not lost. if it is - Migros "wins". this is perhaps modern customer care, but I haven't quite understood it yet.
in the meantime, i have adapted my shopping behavior - not always in favor of Migros. i used to go shopping on foot or by bike - small quantities fit in/on it. today, if i'm not buying kilos of meat or cheese to get to 100, i have to take the car. in this case, the environment is once again the loser.
the 4-letter competitors from germany don't have such hidden "small quantity surcharges" ;-) and I can reach them just as easily by bike and I don't have the "zädeli-chrieg" there either.
my suggestion:
to attach this 2-fold/5-fold voucher purely electronically to the cumulus number and the customer could say at the checkout "please use my 2-fold voucher for this purchase". this way nobody can lose the paper and yet I or my wife would always have it BOTH with me and you could say yourself for which purchase the points multiplier should be used (for the largest purchase).
so, that was just a quick thought that wasn't thought through in detail. so please don't be offended if this suggestion has weaknesses.

Hello everyone
Thank you very much for your messages and the many thoughts you have on the Cumulus and voucher system. I am happy to pass them all on to those responsible for Cumulus. I can assure you that it is also in our interest to make the process as uncomplicated as possible for everyone involved. We are therefore happy to receive your feedback and will evaluate it.
I wish you a pleasant evening.
Best regards
Tanja, Migipedia team
I agree with the tenor.
I consider the system with 2-fold points from CHF 100 to be an extreme deterioration compared to the old system with the monthly total.
My wife buys a lot of fresh vegetables and therefore goes shopping 3-4 times a week for rather small amounts, which often fall below the CHF 100 mark.
In addition, the smaller purchases make it possible to shop on foot, whereas the car comes into play for larger purchases. - This can't really be in the spirit of Migros Generation-M's commitment to sustainability?
Sandy, you speak from the heart! I also think it's unfair that if you don't get to 500 points in a collection period, you don't get any vouchers. I'm not talking about Cumulus vouchers, of course, which is logical, but my mother (80) doesn't need as many as younger people. As a result, she often misses out on the vouchers for 5x points, which means that she has even less chance of getting a 5-franc voucher and therefore also the bonus vouchers (5x points).
I think that Migros - just like the banks - is only interested in major customers. We little ones are left hanging with such things! All I can say is: thank goodness for Aldi and Lidl!
@Fletcher, I understand that it annoys you that your mother doesn't always get the 500 points, you could make a system especially for pensioners, for example, that from 100 points you always get a CHF 1 voucher, 200 points a CHF 2 voucher, .... etc..
but in the end there is no reason to mention this and I quote. "luckily there are Aldi and Lidl" because as far as I know, these stores don't distribute Cumulus or Superpoints or whatever... you could end up praising Coop and Migros.
As far as prices are concerned, I agree with you, but not when it comes to points (vouchers).
