Until last summer, for example, Migros had a fabric conditioner in its detergent range. Not the version in the spray bottle, but the one that you could add to the laundry at the end instead of a fabric softener. And suddenly you could no longer buy it. It had been taken out of the range! Without giving any reasons. Was the product ecologically questionable? Then that would be understandable. But otherwise? I know many people who also miss the dishwasher very much. Please put it back on the shelf:-) Kind regards

I miss it too, it would be great if it came back on the shelf. The reasons why it was taken out of the range are probably the same as for other products: Too little shelf space, no customer demand, etc. In my opinion, Migros has been taking quite a few products out of its range recently without giving any reasons, along the lines of maybe it won't be noticed and just don't make a big fuss about it so as not to scare customers away... It's a real shame that so many products that I loved have gone. So - no wonder - I go shopping less and less at Migros; it used to be quite different...
Hello a-jakob, thank you for your message. Starching laundry has become less common in private households these days and the demand for the fabric conditioner has unfortunately declined. For this reason, we had to part with this item with a heavy heart. However, there is another way to starch your laundry, with our Total Starch Spray (item no. 5005.106). We are convinced that the Total Starch Spray strengthens your laundry just as well. You can spray it on the laundry while ironing. In terms of results, the two products are comparable. The spray is easier to use, as you can starch specific areas, such as collars. Best regards, Richi

Grüezi Richi Thank you for your reply. It is understandable that Migros can only stock products in its stores that are in demand. (In this context, it would be interesting to know where - in terms of numbers - the critical limit is). Of course I know Total Starch Spray, but I have to say that it really isn't an alternative. I would love to demonstrate this in a direct comparison, but that's not possible here. Sorry, your advice (probably from someone who has never tried it themselves) is unfortunately not correct. I am concerned about something else: the fabric conditioner that has been removed from the range is more than just a "starch", it is a real "laundry saver" and "laundry keeper" when used correctly. It extends the lifespan of the treated textiles as well as the color quality. I always wondered why this was not listed as a "purchase criterion" on the product. In times of increasing ecological awareness, Migros could win consumers back for the product with appropriate marketing. Migros wants to expand its online business. Why not an online range for products that you no longer consider worth selling in stores? If you look through the forum and see what people are missing...! Why is this not being checked? The processes already exist: if I buy a rare book from Exlibris, I can have it delivered to "my" store. Result: consumer a-jakob is happy, stays with Migros and, as the media claim, a potential defector to the "tough" competition from the north is won back. :-) I would say: try it out! best regards a-jakob

Hello a-jakob, thank you very much for your open feedback. I understand your reasoning. I have informed the specialist department about your feedback and pointed out that the spray is not an alternative. Of course, we also check the entries on migipedia and we have already taken action based on them. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to fulfill all requests. Kind regards, Richi
Ooo no. I want him back too. If I had known that... Then I would have bought another stock. Too bad

I'm also disappointed that the shaping rinse has been removed from the range. It makes ironing easier and is easy to dose. The spray is a poor alternative. Spraying makes the floor and the surrounding area sticky. Starch from the drugstore also works much worse in the washing machine. So: unsatisfactory.

There is NOTHING comparable, especially not the spray. Even my grandma and mom used it to care for curtains, shirts, etc. The fragrance, protection, feel and efficiency are amazing. Many people around me are desperate because it is now missing and there is simply NO alternative!

Hello SIAMA We no longer have the Total ironing aid in a refill bag (article number 500511600000) in our range. Unfortunately, the demand was too low. I am happy to inform you that we will continue to offer the Total ironing aid spray (article number 500511700000). Kind regards Angela

Thank you very much for your answer. But the spray is, as described, absolutely no alternative. It has completely different properties and is absolutely not versatile (curtains etc).
