Total Color detergent powder Concentré

Total Color Waschmittelpulver Concentré

Today I wanted to buy a packet of Total Color Concentré detergent powder but couldn't find any. I asked an employee and he said that this powder was no longer produced!
Now I want to know: why not?
It was the only conventional detergent I ever bought. And now it's no longer available... Do I really have to buy a normal pack and use twice as much powder?
Thank you
Greetings

Hello@Alteshaus

Thank you for your message. I am sorry that we have removed your preferred detergent from our range. I will be happy to clarify the reasons for this for you immediately.

Kind regards
Tanja

Hello jm

I bought one of these wash balls from Media Markt: A silicone ball filled with clay balls. Since then I only need half the amount of detergent.

Hello
Interesting. I will try that out.
I only use conventional detergent every 4th time. To freshen up the laundry, after washing several times with eco washing powder made from organic soap, without enzymes and without chemical ingredients, the laundry smells like cardboard, because natural fragrances evaporate quickly.
However, I will try out your tip, thank you very much!

Hello@Alteshaus

Unfortunately, the Total Color Concentré detergent has not been so popular for some time and we have therefore decided to take it off the shelves. It is important to us to offer products that meet the needs of as many customers as possible. As an alternative, we have the Total Express color, black and white detergents in our range.

These new express detergents can save a lot of time when washing: The express detergents have been specially developed for short wash programs. The laundry is clean and fresh after just 30 minutes.

Perhaps this is an alternative for you?

Kind regards
Tanja

@Tanja
Thank you for the clarification and answer.
The Total Color concentré gave very good results in the short wash program, so I don't need any extra detergent for that. I often wash in the short/express program. I also assume that this new detergent, as with other manufacturers, contains even more potent enzymes.
Washing at lower temperatures is good for reducing electricity consumption. But unfortunately, the downside is that these detergents use even more and more efficient enzymes, which are also genetically modified. These enzymes adhere strongly to the skin and penetrate the body and we don't know what this does. We also don't know what effect these poorly degradable enzymes have on the environment.
I think most customers didn't even realize that there was a Concentré version. It looked almost the same as the unconcentrated one.
I expect wholesalers and producers to take responsibility and produce and sell products that are as environmentally friendly and healthy as possible and not just act according to fashion and/or demand. You can also control demand by making it clear that a product is better tolerated but still, in this case, produces very good results.

Hello jm

To make the laundry smell fresh, you can add a little vinegar to the fabric softener box. The smell will evaporate during drying and kill any unwanted odors.

I have been washing with Held by ecover color detergent liquid for three years . Even after this long time, the clothes still smell fresh without having to freshen them up with a conventional detergent in between. As we are a lot of people, we always buy the 20 liter container, which lasts for ages.

Hello @Ivan
Thank you for your message.
I also use Held ecover Bunwaschmittel alternately and am also very happy with it. But if you might remember/or know Held from before, since Ecover bought them, Held is not quite as environmentally friendly. Certainly much better than conventional detergents, but since Held was bought by Ecover, it also contains enzymes. That in itself is problematic and then they are also genetically modified.
I mainly use Sonett. There is absolutely nothing in there that is harmful to the environment or health!
I use Sonett for everything in the household. But over time, the laundry smells like "ancient" or cardboard. I also use the softener from Sonett and then you have to use much less washing powder. It's a modular system.
But I certainly won't be buying Total detergent any more. There's also Sodasan and AlmaWin. I'll find a solution and leave my demands for fresher-smelling laundry alone. Migros shouldn't act and think so short-term. In a few decades, at the latest, they will hopefully have a guilty conscience, because it will be possible to say that Switzerland's largest detergent and cleaning agent manufacturer has not taken its responsibility and is partly to blame for our polluted waters and soil and damaged health and did not want to take on a pioneering role.

Hello @moz
Thank you for your reply.
Yes, I know that and I sometimes use it, but I have an extremely sensitive nose and can still smell the vinegar after washing. When you wear the clothes, the vinegar smell almost disappears. But I find citric acid better. It doesn't smell at all.
But my problem isn't bad smells, like musty or sweaty or something. It's that the laundry smells old or like it's been bought new or something. And vinegar doesn't help with that. As you say, it does help very well against odors.
I will now alternate more with Held colored detergent, as Ivan recommended. It's not ideal either, but the laundry apparently still smells clean and fresh after a long time (without any exaggerated perfume smells) and is still much more environmentally friendly than conventional detergents.
Thanks again to Ivan!

@Alteshaus
This colored detergent does not contain enzymes.
