This mess is exactly the reason why I only buy milk in bottles (Heidimilch). It's a bit more expensive, but I'm so fed up with the mess on the table. I also like it when the milk is simply kept COMPLETELY sealed in the fridge. If one of the children opens or closes the fridge door with a little more vigor, nothing spills out.
Then it would also be a possibility to make a cap like the one on O-Saft or Migros Icetea, for example, which can be closed. In addition, a smaller cap in the back of the same system, which can also be closed and prevents the milk from spilling. :)

Thank you very much for your feedback. In principle, it is a good idea to "build in" closures in all Tetra packs. However, packaging with closures is more complex to produce and therefore costs more. In order to keep prices as low as possible in the low-price segment, we are therefore not using them. We have of course passed on your request, be44, to those responsible.
