Our daughter loves the Storymania stories. However, we are both fed up with always listening to them on our smartphones or tablets.
We have a great MP3 player at home, which she can usually use to listen to her Kasperli stories etc. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to format the stories so that my device can play them.
Couldn't you offer all the stories as MP3s? If you don't mind, only when the whole Mania has expired? Thank you very much!

In principle, this would be quite simple: Convert the smp files into mp3 files with KWave. However, as Ultrator reports here and here, this is not possible because the smp files are not smp files at all, but encrypted GPG files. Unfortunately, no one will be able to convert them themselves, as we simply do not have the corresponding key.
The consequences of this are that your children can only listen to the Migros stories with the orange box until it gives up the ghost or with the app, as long as Migros makes the stories available via the app. Later trouble is probably inevitable.
Then the hard way.
Set up the speaker.
Set up the microphone.
And record in a decent format on the PC.
Let's see if by renaming the files we can also play the tracks from which we have not yet been able to get hold of any figures ;o)

Hello everyone, after consultation with the responsible department, the encryption format was chosen for security reasons so that it cannot be converted directly to mp3. Since our own stories are also recorded in this format, user data protection was the top priority here. hello, could i please have an example of how it should work with the renaming so that you can do it with a character? i'm afraid that if a character breaks, you can no longer listen to the story and it would be nice if it could still be played with another character. you write *just rename* ... but could you give an example of what the file should be called?
