In "my" store (Gundelitor Basel) there is an almost infinite number of spices. But one thing is missing: black cumin. I am surprised that this spice, which is widely used in the southern and eastern Mediterranean and also in the Middle and Far East, is not available. Especially for the many nations that shop at Gundelitor, black cumin is actually a "must". The spice gives flatbread or tabouleh the familiar taste of southern Mediterranean cuisine. For anyone unfamiliar with black cumin: These are the black dots that are typically found on Turkish flatbread. So I had no choice but to go to the Turkish supermarket. Black cumin (Nigella), cumin (Cumin) and caraway are completely different spices. I would like to be able to buy them all in Migros. Cumin can be bought in Migros as seeds and ground. Caraway can be bought in Migros as seeds. Black cumin (Nigella) should be available as seeds. Thank you!
I would also very much like to see black cumin added to the Migros range in Gelterkinden. It's a great spice for flatbread, which is consumed very often these days. That's why I think it's about time it was finally included in the Migros range.

It would be advisable to do without the name black cumin because it is misleading. The plant has nothing to do with either caraway or cumin. The product can be labeled NIGELLA in all three national languages.
