The quality has noticeably deteriorated. Practically all the underpants have torn at the crotch. And that only after a short time, after just 10 months. Even though they were washed correctly and not tumble dried.
After complaining to the store, I was told that this was just about how long they would last!
Thin fabrics, cheap workmanship and that with underpants that cost around 9 euros each. That's not acceptable! Aldi sells TOP quality textiles at unbeatable prices. And the price isn't even the main criterion for me. I'm happy to pay good money but only for good quality. And I don't want to have to buy new underpants for the men in my family every 10 months....

What you shouldn't forget: branded underpants from Calida, for example, can easily cost up to four times this price. Underpants for 9 francs may not exactly be a cheap product, but they are still inexpensive. However, 10 months still seems to me to be a somewhat short lifespan, depending on the intensity of wear. In my opinion, Aldi and Lidl should not be used as a yardstick. The pricing policy of these chains is not good for our world in many respects.

I have tried a lot of underpants and the John Adams is just right for my needs. Now I have seen the comment about torn crotch. For me it doesn't last a month and I'm already buying 5 new pairs of underpants. I always assumed it was because maybe I just don't have a 0 8 15 figure :-). But it's annoying that they don't last any better. It would be great if you could improve things as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, I can only confirm that the quality has deteriorated a lot! Compared to the same briefs that have lasted almost 2 years, you can already see signs of wear on the new ones. The fabric is also thinner and they are nowhere near as elastic at the waist as the older version!
What a shame!
