The spicy mustard in the red tube has not been available for some time. We love this mustard, there is no better for us, so we are very disappointed that it is not available. We wonder why this is the case and when it will be available again?

Hello everyone
Unfortunately, demand has been declining for some time, so we have decided to discontinue the article. Such measures are also disappointing for us. The mustard is still available in jars, but only in the cooperatives in French-speaking Switzerland and in the Basel cooperative. You can check availability here: https://produkte.migros.ch/m-classic-senf-scharf-106411400000
However, there is one small ray of hope. As we have received some feedback on the discontinuation of the product, our specialist department is currently looking into reintroducing it to the range. So there is hope that the spicy mustard in a tube will make it back onto our shelves. Now it's time to keep our fingers crossed!
Sunny greetings
Tamara
Fortunately, I was able to get hold of a few tubes at half price shortly before they were discontinued. Too bad about this very good product. But some kind of spicy substitute is needed, a mustard that really hits the nose like horseradish or wasabi.
Have you tried this one yet @stecki?https://produkte.migros.ch/thomy-senf-scharf-mit-meerrettich
Maybe you'll like this one:https://produkte.migros.ch/reine-dijon-original-dijon-senf-scharf
It's also available in a jar, except in the Lucerne cooperative:https://produkte.migros.ch/reine-dijon-moutarde-extra-forte
Best regards, Tamara
Thanks for the feedback @stecki.
We'll be happy to let those responsible know that you prefer Migros products. Perhaps the mustard really will be available again soon.
Best regards, Tamara
They would probably rather wrest a few per mille of market share from the competition than keep their own loyal customers happy. Migros should urgently stop cannibalizing its own products by bringing in branded items. The same old slogan: "This item hasn't been so popular recently" sounds like a mockery. If Migros offers more and more items that are available everywhere else, there will soon no longer be a good reason to shop exclusively at Migros. The list of products that have disappeared in recent years due to the so-called lack of space caused by the glut of branded goods in Migros is now endless. And even as a "Migros owner" I am mercilessly consistent in such matters: I only buy hot mustard (and many other things too) from the competition, even if it costs 10 centimes more there.
@Federwolke
I agree with you. The brand-name g'e'i'l'h'e'i't of the product range managers at Migros is literally a walk in the park!

Dear Migipedians
We have good news for you. The spicy mustard you have been missing will soon be reintroduced due to the many customer feedbacks. I assume this Migipedia article is not entirely innocent :)
Best regards
Dominik
