The Migros where I usually shop no longer sells the budget rice biscuits. Have they been taken out of the range?

Ui right, the product page of the rice cookies leads to nothing, are these the ones meant here or? (Nutrition page) https://ch.openfoodfacts.org/produkt/7617400036503/reisgeb%C3%A4ck-m-budget
Yes, exactly these...😬
Hello Doegg, thank you for your inquiry about the M-Budget rice cookies. We effectively removed the Guetzlis from our range when we last revised it. In order to take our customers' wishes into account and to keep up with market developments, our product ranges are not rigid. We constantly review them and adapt them to the latest findings. Unfortunately, it happens from time to time that our consumers' "favorite items" are affected. We assure you that we check such adjustments very carefully. You may also like these biscuits, which are plant-based and contain no sweeteners: - YOU Cookies Cranberry (https://produkte.migros.ch/you-cookies-cranberry) - YOU Cookies Chocolate (https://produkte.migros.ch/you-cookies-chocolate) I hope you find your new favourite biscuit in the alternatives mentioned. Best regards, Richi

Hi Richi Thanks for the quick reply. I already know the two YOU cookies, they are also good. We always had the rice biscuits in the riding camps for the children and it's a shame that they are no longer available. Then we would have had to buy more of them ;-) Maybe we'll be lucky and Migros will soon have vegan double cookies (like the Coop), we need stacks of them in the camps.

Noooo, not those too :( We really liked them. Too bad, too bad... I've also tried the You versions, but they're not really my thing; the chocolate ones are still fine, the cranberry ones are not my thing at all (I don't like fruit in my Guetsli). Unfortunately, neither of them are the MBudget Guetsli, which were really good.
I suspect they were too similar to these "M-Budget pastry rolls" (can't insert the link at the moment, but it's not displaying correctly)
I guess you're right, do you mean this one? https://produkte.migros.ch/m-budget-gebaeckrolle

It's a real shame that the rice cookies have been taken out of the range. My mother is a huge fan of these biscuits and we even tried to get some in other cooperatives to build up a last stock. Unfortunately to no avail... I even accidentally got hold of the cookie rolls, which are confusingly similar, but I'm not convinced by the taste. The suggested alternatives each contain additional ingredients such as cranberries or chocolate pieces. Don't you have anything in your range that comes even closer to rice cakes?

Unfortunately not, as far as I know Migros doesn't currently have anything that comes close to rice cakes. You'll have to check the competition (Coop, Lidl, Aldi, etc.) to see if they have anything similar...

Thank you for your answer. I have no choice but to look elsewhere for an adequate replacement and hope that the rice cakes will be resumed quickly... :)

That's how it is. Unfortunately, I've also got into the habit of constantly going elsewhere to buy similar products that Migros no longer has in its range... As we all know, hope dies last ;-) Let's hope for the best; it would be great if these rice cakes came back, I really liked them.

Hello taschana, we are sorry that your mother misses the rice cakes. We are aware that when we discontinue a product, we always disappoint customers who appreciate the item. In fact, there is no alternative that is closer to the product than the M-Budget cookie roll you have already tried. Kind regards, Angela
