I recently bought a 1.5 liter bottle of iced tea at Denner and noticed that it only cost 55 centimes, whereas a 1 liter bottle of iced tea from Migros costs 1.10 CHF. Why is that when the Denner stores have belonged to the Migros cooperative since 2009?

(This sentence is in relation to the statement "Aldi/Lidl are cheaper because they pay employees badly" it's not like that) Lidl pays almost 4400 at 41h/week Migros pays 3900 at 41h/week Denner 4000 at 43h/week I wonder more and more why e.g. Lidl and also Aldi pay so much more and are so much cheaper... Is that not true with better employee pay? Yes, I'm not surprised that MIGROS likes to call itself social, but the employees are not. Cheap labor. I was in a Migros store the other day and there was a customer with a small child who asked a saleswoman something.
