Hello, we bought a Dyson AM10 last Saturday for 499. Now we have discovered that the same product costs only 379.- at Dyson directly. How is there such a huge price difference and can I get the difference back? Thanks for your help and best regards toscab

Seriously asking whether you can get the price difference back from the seller because you have subsequently seen the product you bought from another supplier at a cheaper price is really cheeky.
This only works if the seller offers such a promotion themselves. And Migros doesn't do that.
I don't think that's so cheeky.
Some suppliers advertise that you can get your money back for products that are cheaper at another retailer (low price guarantee)... I think Media Markt advertised this...

Nevertheless, there are other dealers who can offer significantly lower prices - even at the same price as in Dyson's own store.
Experience has shown that prices on the open market are usually significantly cheaper than in the manufacturer's own online shop.... (In general, without referring specifically to Dyson) So I don't really accept the reason given by @M-Infoline here
But, as already written: find out BEFOREhand from the price portal of your choice....

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately I don't really understand how such a big company like Migros has to make so much profit and the loyal customers have to pay for it. For me this is a "rip-off". Dutti sends his regards. I meant that melectronic already offered a low price guarantee. As far as I know, this was also around Christmas time. That's why I came up with this question.

@toscab: I understand your annoyance and would just like to give you a little tip: when shopping, always compare Migros or melectronic with Galaxus or Digitec.... You will find considerable price differences, even if the latter two are also 70% owned by Migros... simply without Cumulus.

The low price vow has not existed for some time. It is not possible to compare the price with the Dyson website, as Dyson constantly adjusts the prices and does not give the actual prices for promotions.
